Is it unusual to have much lower vision in your other eye?

Not common: Some eyes are mismatched and have a much greater need for eyeglasses in one eye than the other. Sometimes this leads to uncorrectable vision in one eye (termed amblyopia), and rarely it is caused by actual disease in one eye which attacks the vision in that eye.
