A member asked:

Can "less intense" mouthwashes work as good as the others?

Some are better: Most mouthwashes have alcohol which is drying and can cause mouth cancer. At best they are cosmetic like perfume. Some like the original listerine (intense?) do have some positive effect for the gums. Not scientific but i think it tastes so bad the germs don't want to live there anymore.

What works best: Work best in what way? What works best is proper oral hygiene, which is proper tooth brushing and flossing after meals. Mouth rinses are not an essential part of anything. Too many individuals want to take vitamins, health supplements, mouthwashes, etc. Instead of eating healthy and keep their mouths clean. I'm sorry if that's not the answer you wanted. It is the truth, however.
