Gingivitis: If you brush thoroughly 2-3 times per day, floss daily, brush your tongue, visit the dentist every 6 months, and you have good oral health, there really is no reason you need to use mouthwash. You can maintain a healthy mouth and fresh breath without it. Having said that, I do enjoy the antibacterial properties of listerine, and I use it daily. It is very good in helping prevent gingivitis.
