"WHICH" mouthwash?: Acid is not good for teeth, but the acid must be strong enough to dissolve tooth structure (ph < 5.5). Coffee (ph = 6.6) will not dissolve your teeth. Diet coke (ph = 2.3) will melt them! stomach acid (ph = 1.2) will do the same. Your mouthwash will not be "that" acidic or it would not be acceptable to the fda for sale as a mouthrinse.

Varies: There are many types of mouthwashes so the best recommendation is to decide what seems to work best for you. I would consult your dentist/hygienist to get the best info. It also depends on the type of oral hygiene that you have.
