Angioedema: It looks like you have angioedema. It already gets better so it might take one or two more days. If you have respiratory or GI symptoms, please see come to the nearest er or call ems. If not, make an office visit with an allergist to see why you have it. In the mean time, you can try otc allergy medications to hasten its recovery.

Sadly there is: No fixed time schedule - everybody is different and heals differently. With that said, if it persists beyond a week, i would consider consulting with your physician or dentist. Hope this helps.
