I have had allergic reactions to sulfa (stevens-johnson syndrome) and nsaids (swelling of face lips, and tongue). can i safely take meloxicam for oa?

Likely ok: Reaction to NSAIDs other than asthma, nasal congestion , sinusitis is considered specific to that drug. Sulfa has nothing to do with meloxicam. Thus it is likely safe for you to take Meloxicam but try to stay at 7.5 mg per day.
