If u banged a table hard and hurt your hand and it swelled and turned red can this be cellulitis? x-rays showed no fractures.

Hematoma : Sounds like a hematoma cellulitis is unlikely but not impossible.

Probably not: At tmes, when an injury results in rapid swelling, the area affected at times becomes red. It can be termed a "pseudo-cellulitis", or a false infection.. Of the redness swells, becomes hot, is accompanied by fevers, etc, then an infection in the skin, or a cellulitis.

Generally not: It all may be a reaction to the injury. If it persist then see your doctor.
