Possibly: If the causative organism is a bacteria which is sensitive to Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) it should respond, but this may not be effective or necessary depending on the clinical situation. Yes: Usually Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) has excellent coverage for both ailments. Give the antibiotic at least 48-72 hours to kick in.

Yes: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is a fine antibiotic for both ear and sinus infections. However, many of these conditions start as colds, and that just takes time to clear up. Furthermore, sinus infections can take patience and time to clear up - the medicine has to get into those big areas (your sinuses) in your face/head. Get plenty of fluids and humidity, and also get plenty of rest so your body can heal.
