I am assuming this: Is a mucous retention cyst, which is very common and is caused by a blocked mucous gland. It does not damage the sinus. It also will not enlarge the sinus or thin the sinus wall. It could block the sinus drainage pathway, but as long as it is asymptomatic, no treatment is indicated.
