Reducing swelling: If allergic reaction is ongoing, you need to see your doctor asap. Some allergic reactions, like hives, can be treated with antihistamines. If severe enough, may need oral steroids. As for swelling itself, applying ice for 5 min every 2 hours cover the ice pack so you don't damage your skin) & sleeping on 2 pillows to keep head elevated helps. Any tongue/throat swelling-go to er immediately.
