Peripheral edema: Swelling of the extremities could be caused by many things. If you feel it is not an allergic reaction, an md consult is warranted. Perhaps your kidneys are not functioning properly, a common source of peripheral (and other ) edema: swelling. Any changes in medications? The internet is really unsuited to diagnosis of such symptoms, don't fool around; see an md. Good luck!
