A member asked:

I have red spots on the roof of my throat. what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: Nothing or a common presentation of strep throat includes red spots on the roof of the mouth. If someone feels bad and has such spots it is worthwhile to have a strep test done. Can also be from trauma (scratching roof with a toothpick, toothbrush, straw as examples).
