Possibly: But would need far more information, since teen agers, even at 18 yrs. Can do strange things. If you think there are reasons to do so, it will never hurt to have them seen by a clinical psychologist and evaluated, but at 18 they are also considered adults and can obvious refuse your well intentioned efforts.
