Not Enough Informati: We can not tell you if his not talking much at age of 2 years and tapping his chin with toys is a sign of autism.I will suggest you get him evaluated by his pediatrician and discuss your concerns with Him/Her as the baby has to be evaluated for normal growth and development assessment to be able to answer your concern To me these two signs do not by itself suggest autistic pattern.Get him checked

Speech delay: there is a screening for autism your pediatrician should be able to do between 18 months to three years to see if there is red flags for autism. If not, you can find it online, called M-CHAT. look at it and see. All what you are describing are non specific for autism
