Where is the pregnancy: in the tube or inside the uterus and this is very important, your physician should put all his effort in localizing the pregnancy. If pregnancy is in the tube it can be removed using laparoscopy (both tubes can be removed at the same time).

Yes: Pregnancy following tubal ligation is rare, but can happen. When pregnancy does occur, it has a much higher likelihood of implanting in the tube and causing an ectopic pregnancy. There are many causes of abdominal pain, and it should be evaluated by you dr. Call your gyn asap or go to er if the pain is bad enough.
