Zoom whitening: It is not unusual to have pain after the zoom whitening procedure. This can last up to 24 hours after the procedure, especially if you have gum recession or sensitive teeth to begin with. Keep taking the nsaids. Stay away from anything that makes it worse like cold or hot. Id the pain persists beyond 24 hours, askmyour dentist about mi paste in trays.

See your dentist: Zoom whitening does not elicit this kind of pain, normally the pain or sensitivity is very mild and go away with a small dose of ibuprofen. There may be another reason. Unless you are a regular patient, you should get a complete examination and X-rays before any dental treatment, including teeth whitening, dental caries and gum recession can lead to severe sensitivity. Avoid cold and hot food.

Zoom Whitening pain?: I have never heard of severe pain as you describe from any whitening procedure. I can think of two possible explanations. Either you had an existing large cavity or severe erosion in a tooth that was not restored prior to the whitening procedure or more likely it's coincidental & unrelated to the procedure. I recommend you get in touch with your dentist asap and ask to be seen to have it evaluated
