Back pain: I will assume you've seen a doctor already given the medications you are taking. Since the pain occurred after trauma, did you have any xrays or ct? A good history and exam can usually distinguish musculoskeletal pain from cancer related back pain. Sometimes the only cure for back pain is time to heal. It is important that you continue to follow-up with your doctor as an MRI may be necessary.

Back pain: Back pain can be caused by a multitude of conditions - disc, joint, nerve, bone, ligament... The first question is when did this start. If it was less than a month ago then certainly continue present treatments. If it has been longer you need to follow up with your doc - maybe further studies such as x-ray, ct or MRI are indicated. Finally a referral to a pain md or possible surgical referral.
