No: Homocysteine is an Amino Acid derivative (from vitamins b6, B12 and folate) known as an jndependent risk factor for the development of heart disease. While an high level indicates higher risk, a low level does not have any positive or negative implications. Research has shown that vitamin supplementation with those b vitamins to lower homocysteine levels does not reduce risk for heart disease.
