A member asked:

Both my twins have low homocysteine blood test results they are now 17. the rest fe is 6-10 they have historically been at 3.5 one twin is finally at 5. im concerned bout this and cant seem to find much info re low homocysteine levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, low homocysteine is not pathological. Visit this site for info: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/homocysteine-levels
