Is it alright to have laparoscopy without having hsg to diagnose the problem for infertility?

Yes: Hsg's determine if the inside of the uterus is normal and if the tubes are open. Laparoscopy evaluates the tubes from the outside and due can be flushed to see if they're open. Hysteroscopy should also be included to evaluate the inside of the uterus.
