A member asked:

What is the ideal tsh for suppression of papillary carcinoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: My goal for suppressed TSH depends on what the probability of recurrence is based on the size of your tumor, age, how long it has been since diagnosis. Generally, i strive for a TSH level that is near or just below the lower limit of normal (around 0.4). The level should be below 1, but should not be undetectable.
