Hi doctors! I had an MRI of the brain/skull base (which Thank God did not find anything serious)! The radiologist did, however report "new complete opacification of the left frontal sinus"-what is done for this? What are the symptoms and treatment?
Would a brain MRI or CT scan cover sinuses? Would it detect nasal cancer or sinus cancer? Was not taken for problem related to sinus but wondering if radiologist would take images of this or interperet?
The mri if my brain show a white matter lesion. The radiologist mentioned a whole bunch of possiblities but a tumor was not one of them. Should I be concerned about it even though they didn't mention it?
Can a cervical neck MRI miss a brain tumor? I had one recently for a bulge disk and it detected a big sinus cyst. In case I had a brain tumor... Would it had also detect it? Thanks
