No: Pregnancy should not alter dental treatment. If xrays are used, a lead shield is placed across the abdomen to avoid exposure of the baby to radiation. Pregnancy is not a contraindication to having a dental cavity treated.

Go now: The concern more for you than for your baby. Your baby will be okay but you have an infection that needs immediate treatment. 19 days is too long to wait. Find someone who can see you now.
