They can: As long as no emergencies, cleanings are possible if the patient is healthy, no heart or diabetes issues, rest of work can wait and my be temporized for later treatment.

Do not wait: Dental treatment for dental women who has oral pain, toothache or infection should not be delayed. The waiting could cause more harm to the mother and possibly to the fetus than a dental treatment itself. Ask your dentist for more information. Good luck.
