Not common: If you a talking about ablating ovarian cysts, as is sometimes done for pcos - the ablation itself would cause minimal pain. The laparoscopy done to access the ovaries would cause mild pain that would normally be controlled with oral pain medications. If you mean an endomatrial ablation, there would likely be minimal pain during or after the procedure, as most are done under general anesthesia.
