See below: If the pain is increasing, she can't walk, complains of numbness below the site of the injury, or shows other signs of a serious trauma, get her seen asap, otherwise, try Ibuprofen for the pain and gentle massage to the area my help her psychologically.

Give it 24 hours: If everything else is ok and she is moving all four extremities and has no specific complaints, a little children's tylenol (acetaminophen) and time and TLC may help resolve this, but if it continues, see a doctor.
