Likely unrelated: The pain you describe is likely unrelated to her having a period in the near future. Most young women do not have menstrual pain in the first cycles.It can come on later in some.

Ovulation?: What is your daughter's height and weight? Is the pain monthly? How many months ? How long does it last? Any change in bowel habits loose stools, or frequent movements? Does the pain radiate anywhere, any fever, nausea, vomiting? Can be ovulation pain, appendicitis, irritable bowel syndrome. Has she seen her pediatrician?
