Can you be sure that the discomfort is emanating from the right ovary? When a person, of any age, has persistent right sided abdominal pain, especially with associated tenderness, appendicitis must be ruled out. For this reason,I recommend being examined in the hospital ER where prompt testing and care are available.

Pain in the right lower abdomen and pelvis can be due to multiple causes. It may not necessarily be the ovary which is causing it. One of the concerns is the possibility of appendicitis or a kidney infection, both of which needs specific treatment. If your pain is persistent, you should see your doctor or go to the emergency room. Good luck.
