A solid test: The abdominal ct is actually quite good at picking up masses in the pancreas. If there's a questionable area, but not able to be declared on the ct, it can be repeated with a targeted technique called pancreatic protocol. If your ct is normal, you should be ok. Good luck.

Very accurate: A thin-cut ct scan done with intravenous contrast is very accurate at detecting pancreatic cancer once it is beyond a centimeter or more in size. You should be reassured by a negative ct scan but it is not 100% accurate. If you are having worrisome symptoms, you should have a ca-19-9 blood test and perhaps an endoscopic ultrasound or a followup ct scan after a few weeks.
