Found out i have minor cartilage damage in the medial condyle area. how successful is arthroscopy which entails cartilage graft?

Knee Arthroscopy: Cartilage reconstruction is still considered an emerging field however newer techniques have high levels of success. Of course it is dependent upon the technique employed (dependent upon the depth and the breath of the damage) if you have a microfracture, enhanced microfracture, oats or autologous chondrocyte implantation (aci), that your result will almost certainly be better than doing nothing.

Depends: No good photo! it does depend on how extensive an area it is. Early grade i can b shaved & smoothed out. I is minor & IV is bad or gone. If is amenable 2 grafting it is good. However during the scoping procedure the surgical plan may need 2 b altered if things r worse than expected.
