Without further : Additional injury, the burn should resolve in 10-14 days since the accident, probably another week for you. Sorry, no miracle treatments are available to speed that healing process. Avoid spicy foods and use bland toothpaste. Ask your dentist about a prescription rinse that can help soothe the area while it heals. Good luck!

Old standby...: Rinsing with a dilute salt water mixture (1/2 tsp to 4 oz warm water) is an easy way to help. Do it 4-5 times/day and be sure not to swallow it. The roof of your mouth takes up to 7-10 days to heal depending on location. If it seems to be worsening, contact your dentist.
