Talk with your surge: Your surgeon should be able to guide you in this matter. Hematomas can seep into the skin and underneath it and look ugly but they usually are not that serious unless there is continuing bleeding. You must inform your surgeon right away if you have not done yet. He/she is your best guide for further help and advice.
