I have this pain above my left breast, its on top of the ribs. at first i thought it was a bruise but the pain is sharper and there is no discoloring?

Pain caused by costochondritis may mimic that of heart attack.Other names chest wall pain, costosternal syndrome and costosternal chondrodynia.Tietze syndrome with associated swelling. Treatment medications for pain.No cause. Resolves on its own. Usually left sided.
