Plugged Ducts: You may have a plugged milk duct problem. Be sure and alternate your positioning as you breastfeed the baby to be sure that all portions of the breast are being adequately " drained " as the baby feeds. The "cross cradle" hold does a good job of emptying these outside ducts. Try a warm compress also several times daily. Congrats for breastfeeding your baby! Bravo!
