Surgery, then...: The first line of treatment for colon cancer is surgical removal. Once removed, adjunctive therapies can include chemotherapy or radiation, plus close monitoring . In a few select situations pre-op radiation and chemo may be given to reduce the tumour size before resection. Good luck.
