Good size for ESWL: Hope you are seeing a urologist. Size of stone seems ideal for shock-wave lithotripsy. Usually performed under anesthesia, eswl machine emits very powerfull sound wives wich are focused on the stone using ultrasound or fluoroscopy. High success rate. Will not dissolve with medications, does not require open surgery or percutaneous lithotripsy (breaking up stone via tube in kidney).
