Not after puberty.: F you've completed puberty you aren't likely to grow taller. Girls complete puberty by ages 15 to 17 & for boys it is by ages 16 to 17. However, if one enters puberty late, they will usually also complete it late. Our height is largely determined by genetics (our parents' height). If you are healthy (no unusual causes for stunted growth/ smaller stature) then there is not a way become taller.

Not for 53 yo: Linear growth can continue only as long as the growth centers in the bore are open. These close in most males by 17-18 which can be verified by x-ray. Rarely they remain open until the early 20's. There are a syrgical procedures to break/stretch your lower legs performed in some foreign countries,but success is not guaranteed. It is costly, painful and time consuming.
