Green & white tea: Both have pro's & con's. My vote would be for green, red or white tea. Tea is derived from the camellia sinensis tree. The leaves contain antioxidant polyphenols which have an anti-carcinogenic effect. Lighter tea (white & green) is less processed. Studies suggest green tea can assist w glycemic control. Herbal teas can be selected for their specific healthful effects.
