Salt water rinses: Salt water nasal rinses help to thin mucus that can contribute to nasal stuffiness and post nasal drip. Rinses also remove the debris (dust and other allergens) that sticks to the nasal lining and cause the lining to swell, become inflamed, and increase nasal mucus.
