Not always a stroke: You should see a neurologist, without knowing more about your exam and presentation it might help to point out that numbness may not necessarily due to a stroke in the brain matter. All points of the pathway between the sensory receptors in the skin, the connecting nerves, and the brain itself may be affected.

?nerve palsy: Keep seeking answers, as a normal MRI is very good news and rules out stroke etc., you may have a nerve palsy of some sort, severe sinus infection causing facial parasthesias, lymes disease, variant herpes zoster infection, etc. Hopefully a diagnosis will be forthcoming, so you can start to get better.
