Daily vitamins: Yes, most people eat the same foods on a regular basis. A daily multivitamin can insure no deficiencies occur. Prenatal vitamins have extra Folic Acid which is essential for the nervous system of developing fetus.

Meet requirement: Need to meet daily requirement of vitamins and minerals, any excess in take , some are stored like B12 , vit c etc , rest when reached limit, are eliminated. Dose for dose all vitamins are same, some are expensive with hyped up adds others are inexpensive. You decide which one to take, some rx ed one in excessive dose may have side effects not the one you are taking daily , so don't worry.
