I have a small hernia after giving birth really bad pains & it feels hard when i'm in pain is this bad? i see a specialist in a few weeks but in pain?

Belly-button?: If so, this is a common hernia after pregnancy. Pain may be a sign that the hernia is incarcerated (trapped) if severe it could lead to strangulation where the blood supply is cut of and the tissue (most likely fat) dies off. Try relaxation and gentle massage with you on your back to see if the hernia goes back in and the pain improves. If not, see md sooner. If severe, or vomiting go to er.
