See your doctor: Based on the description you are giving, if you are closing your left eye and your right is blurry that may be your weaker eye and not have anything to do with plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine). See your opthalmologist for an eye exam.

Systemic diseases: And some treatments for them cam cause eye to be dry. Try some lubricating eyes drops first, systane or refresh that can be bought over the counter. If still blurry you need an eye exam.
