Yes is GERD: Most probably the symptoms worse at night while lying down and you may wake up coughing. Need to identify food that worse symptoms. Common ones: coffee, sodas, acid fruits and juices, smoking, tomatoes, spice foods etc. Go to reflux.Org; avoid large meal specially before going to bed. Loose weigh if overweight; do not drink; avoid tight cloths. If continue with symptoms see your doctor.
