Minimal: At age 35 you would know if you had a bleeding problem. If the roots of the teeth are in the upper sinus a perforation is remotely possible but correctable. If the roots are in the lower nerve channel nerve damage is possible, your surgeon will discuss this with you. A dry socket happens mostly with wisdom teeth and heals with or without treatment. What specifically are you worried about?

Faily common proc.: Its very common procedure and I have an anesthesia doctor perform this in my office. The clinician has to be trained to perform this procedure and its fairly simple and straightforward. Usually anesthesia doctors do this. Hope this helps, .
