Just one course...: It's not ideal, but antibiotics could get you anywhere from a few days to a few months of relief. You shouldn't take more than one course though, usually 7-10 days. Taking many different antibiotics for an extended time might cause other problems like fungal infections, or resistant infections. Prompt treatment avoids this. Btw, my office is only 40 mins away from slc. I can see you next wk.
