HIV Testing: Routine antibody testing for HIV can take three to six months to be fully discernible with testing. If there is a high risk exposure or chance you are infected there is the HIV RNA or dna testing available that will be positive from day 21 and later. Remember, HIV infections can be prevented after high risk exposure with post exposure prophylaxis. Pep. You need a doctor who knows this!
