Heat rashes occur: Heat rashes occur, and are not uncommon. Sometimes it's related to sweating a lot, with or without "blocked" sweat glands or oil glands. Other times it's related to sports equipment friction, bacteria, moisture, etc... Being in a hot tub can lead to a "hot tub" rashes. Rashes are difficult to describe in words, so it is best to have a doctor look at a rash.

Still sounds fungal: Would treat it as a superficial fungal skin infection till gone and doesn't return: cleanse area well every morning, antifungal powder after drying, cotton underwear, if perspire-change during the day; combo antifungal/cortisone cream at night, make sure get the borders of the rash; and your doc or dermatologist should consider giving a short rx with an oral anti fungal medication. diangosis sounds right.

Keep cooler: Heat rash usually resolves in a few days unless you continue to sweat too much. So dress in cooler clothes or remove a layer of clothes, blankets, etc. Try not to use any topical creams or ointments that can also hold in heat. Keep cooler and the rash should go away on its own. Cool water will feel good on the rash. Solarcaine gel would help with comfort also.
