Possibly but: Will need all the records and x-rays so the surgeon has the proper tools to evaluate you. And of course it really depends what the condition is.

Yes, if warranted: The need for revision sometimes occurs and it's not uncommon to have a 2 stage procedure in the hand. It does depend on your diagnosis however.
