Not necessarily: Having your lips turn dark, or "blue" is more a sing of oxygen deprivation, that can occur in asthma or copd/emphysema, and or any other reason you would be lacking in oxygen (breathing issues most commonly) causing a cyanosis to occur. If this happens often, see a dr. For an evaluation. Best wishes.
